Business owners to talk on overcoming hurdles

A discussion of hurdles faced by businesses in Upstate New York, and how some business owners have overcome those challenges, is scheduled for March 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the HSBC Auditorium on Chestnut Street.

The event is co-sponsored by Unshackle Upstate and the Buffalo-based Upstate New York chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.

John Summers, CEO of Jasco Tools Inc. in Rochester; Robert Rock, owner of Certified Grinding and Machine LLC in Rochester; and Unshackle Upstate executive director Brian Sampson are the scheduled panelists.

Ellen Rosen, vice president of marketing, communications and membership with the Rochester Business Alliance Inc., is slated to moderate the discussion.

Registration fee is $30 for Unshackle Upstate and Turnaround Management Association members, and $55 for nonmembers.
